Job Title: Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
Employment Type: Contract
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to evaluate and treat patients with speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients' speech, language, and swallowing abilities to develop individualized treatment plans
- Administer therapy to improve communication and swallowing function
- Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans and home exercise programs
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare team members
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in patient records
Requirements
- Active SLP license in the relevant state
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Current BLS certification
- Prior clinical experience preferred
- Strong clinical and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment
