The Speech Pathologist evaluates, plans, and administers medically prescribed speech and language therapy treatment, diagnosing and treating speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders. This role involves implementing care plans using evidence-based modalities to help patients achieve functional goals and includes coordinating test results and providing patient and family education.
A Master's Degree in Communication Science & Disorder, Speech and Hearing, or Speech and Language is required for this position. Candidates must also possess a Florida State Speech Pathologist License (or Provisional License) and current BLS for Healthcare Providers certification upon hire.
