Description

Healthcare United is seeking a Board Eligible or Board Certified, fellowship-trained General Gastroenterologist to join an established Gastroenterology Division in southeastern Massachusetts, approximately 20 minutes from Providence, Rhode Island.

The incoming physician will join Board-Certified Gastroenterologists and Nurse Practitioners with a large established patient population and strong Primary Care referral base.

The practice provides comprehensive management of intestinal, hepatic, pancreatic, and biliary disease and maintains a busy outpatient endoscopy suite with dedicated nursing, anesthesia, and pathology support.

Higher-risk and complex procedures are performed at a nearby hospital outpatient procedural suite. The physician will provide outpatient GI care and hospital consultations. Advanced GI Endoscopy training is desirable but not required.

Requirements

• MD or DO

• Completion of an accredited Gastroenterology fellowship

• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Gastroenterology

• Comfortable performing routine endoscopic procedures

• Ability to manage intestinal, hepatic, pancreatic, and biliary disease

• Comfortable providing outpatient care and hospital consultations

• Advanced GI Endoscopy training desirable but not required

• New graduates and experienced physicians welcome
