PTA - Physical Therapist Assistant

Key Responsibilities

The Physical Therapist Assistant will assist in implementing individualized treatment plans and monitoring resident progress under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist. They are also responsible for maintaining accurate progress notes, statistical records, and ensuring the sanitation of therapy equipment.

Requirements

Candidates must be graduates of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program and hold a current New York State license. Additionally, a current CPR/BLS certification is required for this position.
