Illinois Bone & Joint Institute (IBJI) is seeking Physical Therapists to join our collaborative outpatient rehabilitation team. OrthoSync, which coordinates surgical and rehabilitative care for joint replacement patients OrthoHealth, which combines rehabilitation, health coaching, and nutritional counseling to support joint health and weight management.

Key Responsibilities: Under the direction of the Facility Manager, the Physical Therapist provides high-quality outpatient rehabilitation services in collaboration with IBJI's orthopedic physicians and clinical team.

Interprets physician orders - Perform comprehensive patient evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans and functional goals

  • Provide exceptional, evidence-based patient care
  • Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans and goals as appropriate
  • Establish appropriate discharge plans and follow-up recommendations
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation, including evaluations, daily notes, progress notes, discharges, and home exercise programs
  • Maintain compliance with billing requirements and ethical billing practices
  • Collaborate and develop positive relationships with the physicians team at IBJI
  • Supervise and provide direction to Rehabilitation Technicians and other support staff as appropriate
  • Maintain an active Illinois Physical Therapy license and complete required CEUs
  • Participate in professional development opportunities, including mentoring, clinical education, special interest groups, and community outreach
  • Other duties as assigned

Schedule: Full-Time/Part-Time availability

Monday - Friday (Open to creative scheduling)

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program
  • Licensed or eligible for licensure in the State of Illinois
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced outpatient environment
  • Demonstrates good understanding of proper body mechanics for lifting, pulling, pushing
  • Ability to lift 25 pounds as needed
  • Ability to stand, sit, and move throughout the workday
  • Ability to work with electronic medical records and other computer systems for extended periods

Our clinical services include advanced MRI imaging, pain management, non-surgical and surgical treatment plans, rheumatology, physical therapy, occupational therapy, wellness, and sports and sports training. Ortho Access walk-in clinics provide same day care for orthopedic injuries.

Comprehensive care offered all in one place enables physicians, therapists and staff to work closely together, so that patients and families achieve better outcomes. Collaborative care is also more efficient.

In many cases, IBJI services are substantially less expensive than those provided by large healthcare systems and emergency rooms.

Base salary offers for this position may vary based on factors such as location, skills and relevant experience.
