Position Purpose: Performs a clinical review and assesses care related to mental health and substance abuse. Monitors and determines if level of care and services related to mental health and substance abuse are medically appropriate.

The clinician performs medical necessity reviews and authorization determinations for behavioral health services to ensure appropriate care. They also engage with healthcare providers and leadership to improve the quality, efficiency, and utilization of mental health and substance abuse services.
Candidates must hold a Master's degree for behavioral health roles or a nursing degree, along with 2-4 years of relevant experience. A valid independent clinical license such as LCSW, LMHC, LPC, LMFT, or RN is required.
