About the Role
Join Cerebral Palsy Inc as a Occupational Therapist – Pediatric Focus in United States. JOB SUMMARY: The primary role of the Occupational Therapist is to provide services to both children and adults. This role will be responsible for the evaluation of the client and the implementation of the treatment plan.
Key Responsibilities
- AND RESPONSIBLITIES: 1.
- Educate and demonstrate (verbally or written) therapy techniques to clients that can be incorporated into a home program; assist families in home program facilitation.
- With parent input, develop individualized goals for each child incorporating functional abilities with the objective to increase daily living skills.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree from a college or university having an accredited school of occupational therapy.
- Currently registered and licensed by the State of Wisconsin or eligible for licensure.
- Completion of a pediatric affiliation/internship or pediatric experience with developmentally delayed children preferred.
- Neuro Developmental Treatment (NDT) certification preferred, but not required.
