Job Description
$10,000 Sign-on Bonus
BAYADA Home Health Care is currently seeking an experienced Physical Therapist, PT, for a full-time opportunity performing home health visits for our Atlantic County Visits office. This office services adult and geriatric clients on a per visit basis in territories throughout Atlantic County.
One year prior clinical experience as a licensed Physical Therapist is preferred but not required. As a home care Physical Therapist, you will be an integral member of a multi-disciplinary health care team that provides rehabilitative care and skilled nursing to clients, affording them the opportunity to receive the medical care required to remain at home.

What You'll Do
- Perform home visits in designated geographic territories
- Complete comprehensive physical therapy evaluations
- Assess mobility, strength, balance, gait, transfers, endurance, and safety risks
- Develop individualized treatment plans to improve function and independence
- Provide therapeutic exercise, gait training, balance training, and other evidence-based interventions
- Collaborate with nurses and other clinicians as part of a multidisciplinary care team
- Educate patients and caregivers on exercises, safety, and disease management
- Document patient care using a user-friendly electronic medical record system
Qualifications for a PT - Physical Therapist include
- A current NJ Physical Therapist - PT license.
- A minimum of one year of recent work experience as a Physical Therapist - PT.
Graduation from a program approved by the American Physical Therapy Association or the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation of the American Medical Association, as indicated by school transcript or diploma.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and problem solving skills.
- Solid computer skills; prior experience with electronic medical records (EMR) preferred.

- Base Pay, depending upon qualifications, status, and subject to negotiation:
- $64.00 - $72.00 per point ($99,840 - $112,320 annual earning potential)
