Make a Meaningful Impact – Your expertise will directly enhance patients' well-being and independence. Job descriptions and needs would entail but are not limited to: Educate, support, and empower patients, caregivers, and healthcare professionals on respiratory therapies and equipment management.
Set up, operate, troubleshoot, and instruct on a variety of medical devices, including: CPAP/Bi-level therapy Home ventilators Cough Assist devices Oscillation vests Conduct home and hospital visits to assess patient needs and provide follow-up care.
Ensure proper functionality of equipment through inspection and testing. Complete thorough and timely documentation to maintain compliance and patient records.
Qualifications
What You’ll Need: Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification. Must hold an active Respiratory Therapist license in the state of Oregon, in accordance with state regulatory requirements. Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle for home and hospital visits. Passion for patient care and a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities
Educate patients and caregivers on respiratory therapies and manage the operation of medical equipment. Conduct home and hospital visits to assess patient needs and ensure equipment functionality.
Requirements
Must hold an active Respiratory Therapist license in Oregon and possess either a CRT or RRT certification. A valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle are required for travel to patient locations.
