Advanced Practice Provider (NP, PA-C)

Key Responsibilities

The Advanced Practice Provider diagnoses and treats acute or chronic illnesses, performs diagnostic tests, and develops comprehensive treatment plans for inmates. They also provide patient education, manage medication regimens, and ensure compliance with safety and infection control policies.

Requirements

Candidates must be graduates of an accredited nursing or physician assistant program with a current, unrestricted state license and DEA registration. Two years of advanced practice experience is preferred, along with the ability to perform physical appraisals and minor surgical procedures.
