About the Role
Join Tepeyac Community Health Center as a Behavioral Health Provider in United States.
Key Responsibilities
- Familiarity with the DSM V and diagnostic techniques.
- Evaluate crisis situations and apply appropriate interventions.
- Conduct mental health screenings utilizing standardized instruments and assess clients to determine appropriate level of treatment in accordance with relevant ethical and legal standards.
- Manage psychosocial aspects of chronic and acute diseases as well as substance use in addition to educating clients and families with prevention and treatment enhancement techniques.
Requirements
- Oral and written fluency in English and oral fluency in Spanish required.
- Support learning and case consultation for unlicensed BHPs and/or BH interns. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:
- Strong initiative and passion to advocate and provide healthcare to low income, diverse populations.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including some evenings and Saturday mornings.
Benefits & Compensation
- $77,476, depending on experience. The salary range for an Unlicensed Behavioral Health Provider is $63,710
- $67,019, depending on experience. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
