Key Responsibilities

The endocrinologist will provide both inpatient and outpatient clinical care while educating and supervising Internal Medicine residents and medical students. They will also participate in residency program activities and quality improvement initiatives within the Division of Endocrinology.

Requirements

Candidates must hold an MD or DO degree and have completed an ACGME accredited Internal Medicine residency and Endocrinology fellowship. Applicants must be board eligible or board certified in Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism and eligible for medical licensure in Alabama.
