Key Responsibilities

This position is responsible for developing and facilitating the center’s alcohol, drug, and tobacco prevention program for students aged 16-24, which includes educating and counseling students to reduce drug-related separations. The role also involves developing individualized case management plans, ensuring confidentiality and HIPAA compliance, and administering the center’s drug testing program.

Requirements

Candidates must possess a high school diploma or GED, with an associate or bachelor's degree being preferred, alongside an active, unrestricted substance abuse license or certification meeting minimum Rhode Island state requirements. A minimum of one year of experience in drug/alcohol counseling or a related field is preferred.
