Summary

As a Social Worker, you will provide essential psychosocial and social work services to diverse patient populations across healthcare and community settings. Depending on your experience and licensure, you will perform a range of duties from initial assessments to supervisory and program management roles, all aimed at improving patient outcomes and quality of care.

Levels & Opportunities

Level II

• Perform more advanced assessments and assist in clinical service delivery.
• Mentor and support less experienced staff and students.
• Work independently under supervision with licenses such as LMSW or LCSW.
• Participate in team meetings, quality improvement, and community liaison activities.

Qualifications

Valid NYSED license as LMSW or LCSW.

Level III

• Provide clinical supervision to LMSWs and staff, ensuring quality standards.
• Lead special projects, data collection, and program evaluation.
• Develop training curricula and interpret clinical data for reports.
• Serve as liaison with community agencies and contribute to policy development.

Qualifications

Valid NYSED license as LCSW.

Level IV

• Provide supervision and coordinate multiple social work units on complex cases.
• Develop and implement programs and community initiatives.
• Offer consultation, staff training, and policy guidance.
• Represent the department in inter-agency collaborations.

Qualifications

LCSW license with supervisory experience.
