What You Will Do to Change Lives

You will direct medical treatment to members served within the scope of your Psychiatrist licensure. You will participate in the leadership of the program by participating and communicating with Program staff and members served. You participate in the leadership of the program by ensuring superior quality medical practices that meet and exceed licensure requirements, payer standards and client and community needs.

Psychiatrist - Full-time, 40 hours per week

M-F 8am-5pm onsite position

Optional on call (by phone for emergencies only compensated up to $400/night)

Compensation -

Expected starting Employee wage range $322,561 - $403,202 / Annually

Independent Contractor wage range $201 - $252 / Hourly

Telecare applies geographic differentials to its pay ranges. The pay range assigned to this role will be based on the geographic location from which the role is performed. Starting pay is commensurate with relevant experience above the minimum requirements.

Independent Contractors are not eligible for company benefits and must provide their own malpractice insurance.

What You Bring to the Table (Must Have)

• A medical degree from a medical school accredited by the American Medical Association or the American Osteopathic Association and successful completion of residency training program in psychiatry
• Active DEA in good standing

The Kern CSU is a short-stay crisis stabilization unit (CSU) that offers 24/7 services to adults and youth. The Windsor Center aims to increase access to crisis services, reduce inpatient hospitalization, reduce the amount of time that law enforcement is involved in a mental health crisis, and strengthen the existing outpatient behavioral health services.
