Psychiatrist

Key Responsibilities

The Psychiatrist will plan, coordinate, and manage the facility's mental health program, accepting referrals for inmate evaluations and making necessary recommendations. This role also involves developing and conducting preventative mental health programs, providing staff training in counseling techniques, and maintaining strict confidentiality of inmate files.

Requirements

Candidates must possess an MD specialty in psychiatry, preferably with a Master's degree in psychiatry, and three years of related experience. A valid Ohio license or certification, board certification in psychiatry, and an acceptable Ohio driver's license are mandatory requirements.
