Key Responsibilities
The Consultant Psychiatrist will provide senior clinical leadership and medical oversight for the adult autism assessment pathway. They are responsible for conducting complex assessments, supervising non-consultant clinicians, and contributing to clinical governance and service development.
Requirements
Candidates must be GMC-registered Consultant Psychiatrists with a CCT in General Adult or Learning Disability Psychiatry and Section 12 approval. Demonstrable experience in the assessment and diagnosis of adult Autism Spectrum Disorder is essential.
