Job Description
The Nurse Practitioner is responsible for delivering exceptional aesthetic and wellness services within the Med Spa at Wynn Las Vegas.
This role provides comprehensive patient consultations, develops individualized treatment plans, performs non-surgical cosmetic procedures within scope of practice, and collaborates with medical and spa professionals to ensure the highest standards of patient care, safety, and luxury service.
The Nurse Practitioner serves as a trusted clinical expert, helping guests achieve their aesthetic and wellness goals while embodying the Forbes Five-Star standards and exceptional guest experiences that define Wynn Las Vegas.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, aesthetic consultations, and medical evaluations.
- Develop customized treatment plans based on individual patient needs, objectives, and medical history.
- Perform aesthetic medical procedures in accordance with Nevada regulations and established clinical protocols, including:
- Neurotoxin injections
- Dermal fillers
- Microneedling
- Platelet-rich plasma (PRP) treatments
- Laser and energy-based treatments (if appropriately trained and credentialed)
Medical-grade Skincare Consultations and Treatments
- Educate patients regarding treatment options, expected outcomes, recovery timelines, and post-treatment care.
- Monitor patient progress and provide follow-up care to ensure optimal results and satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate and thorough electronic medical records and treatment documentation.
- Identify contraindications and manage adverse events appropriately within scope of practice.
- Collaborate with the Medical Director and interdisciplinary team to ensure safe, effective, and compliant patient care.
- Maintain current knowledge of emerging aesthetic medicine techniques, technologies, and industry trends.
- Support Med Spa revenue goals through ethical treatment recommendations and patient retention initiatives.
Participate in inventory control and ensure proper handling of medical supplies, pharmaceuticals, and equipment.
Adhere to Wynn Las Vegas service standards, departmental policies, infection control protocols, and regulatory requirements.
- Foster a welcoming, professional, and luxury-focused guest environment.
- Maintain patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA and organizational standards.
- Perform additional responsibilities and special projects as assigned.
Qualifications
- Master's or Doctorate degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
- Current and unrestricted Nevada Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) license.
- National Nurse Practitioner certification in good standing.
- Current DEA registration and prescriptive authority, if applicable.
- Minimum of three (3) years of nursing experience, preferably in aesthetic medicine, dermatology, plastic surgery, wellness, or medical spa settings.
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience performing aesthetic procedures preferred.
- Demonstrated knowledge of cosmetic injectables, skin rejuvenation treatments, and medical-grade skincare.
- Strong understanding of patient assessment, treatment planning, and clinical documentation.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and consultation skills.
- Ability to build rapport with a diverse luxury clientele.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety.
- Proficiency with electronic medical record systems.
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as business demands require.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a luxury hospitality, resort, or destination spa environment.
- Advanced certifications in aesthetic injectables, laser treatments, or cosmetic procedures.
- Experience with regenerative and wellness-focused therapies.
- Knowledge of Forbes Five-Star service standards.
