Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive emergency medical care to patients presenting to the ED.
- Work a rotating schedule including day, afternoon, evening, and night shifts.
- Manage high patient volumes, averaging 110 patients per 24-hour period.
- Collaborate with nursing and support staff to ensure efficient patient flow.
- Adhere to hospital privileging standards and maintain required certifications.
Key Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive emergency medical care to patients in a high-volume trauma center. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and supervise advanced practice providers in the fast track department.
Requirements
Must be a board-certified or board-eligible physician with a valid California medical license. Requires current BLS and ACLS certifications and the ability to work a rotating shift schedule.
