Job description

Join Florida Cancer Specialists as a Clinical Oncology Pharmacist in Port Charlotte, Florida.

Key Responsibilities

  • KPA 1 – Clinical Oncology Pharmacy Support Provides timely consultation services to physicians, nurses, pharmacy staff, and other members of the organization.
  • Delivers up to date drug information on new approved therapies in the oncology space as well as other biologic therapies.
  • Applies current pharmacological and biopharmaceutical principles for the selection and use of drug products in a clinical setting to meet the therapeutic needs of a patient.
  • Provides senior clinical support and education to other members of the department in correlation with operational projects and objectives.

Work Schedule

  • Full-Time position.
  • Hybrid position - combination of remote and on-site.

This position offers hybrid flexibility. Work with Florida Cancer Specialists in Port Charlotte, Florida.

Requirements

Candidates must hold a college degree in pharmacy (PharmD preferred) and be a licensed pharmacist with at least 5 years of clinical experience. Board Certification in Oncology Pharmacy (BCOP) is preferred, and a valid driver's license is required for travel to satellite offices.
