About the Role

Join Empath Health as a Speech Therapist Home Health - PRN in United States. Empath Home Health, a member of Empath Health is seeking a caring and motivated PRN Home Health Speech Language Pathologist (SLP). This SLP PRN will support patients in The Villages and, if desired, surrounding areas of Ocala, Marion, Lake, and Sumter counties.

Key Responsibilities

Provide skilled speech therapy services in accordance with physician orders, the plan of care, and regulatory standards

Complete initial and ongoing patient assessments, including required OASIS assessments

Develop individualized plans of care in collaboration with physicians and the interdisciplinary team

Educate patients and families on swallowing safety, dietary consistency, and communication strategies

Requirements

Current state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist

One (1) year of home health experience preferred

Strong clinical assessment, communication, and patient
