Occupational Therapist

Key Responsibilities

The Occupational Therapist evaluates individuals in areas like fine motor skills, upper extremity function, and sensory integration processing to establish individualized therapy goals and generate data for the Plan of Care. Responsibilities include providing direct therapy in various settings, developing in-home programs for families, and participating in multidisciplinary meetings like IFSP discussions.

Licensure & Certifications

A bachelor's degree in occupational therapy from an accredited university is required, along with Illinois licensure or eligibility, and Illinois Early Intervention credentialing or eligibility. One year of proven successful experience in pediatric occupational therapy is preferred.
