The Emergency Department Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner is responsible for providing both routine and emergency medical care within the Emergency Department setting. This role operates under the direct supervision of a licensed physician.

Requirements

Candidates must have completed an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner training program and hold the relevant certification (NCPAA or AANP). A minimum of two to three years of post-graduate experience in an Emergency Department is required, along with PALS, ACLS certifications, and Hawaii State licensure with prescriptive authority.
