Key Responsibilities

The Staff Pharmacist manages the daily operational tasks related to dispensing prescription medication for long-term/post-acute care, ensuring adherence to quality standards, policies, and regulatory guidelines. Key duties include verifying order accuracy, maintaining patient databases, managing controlled substances, and providing clinical expertise to internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

Candidates must possess a current, active Pharmacist license and demonstrate the ability to perform dispensing duties accurately and efficiently, potentially working flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays. A Bachelor's degree or Pharmacy Doctorate is required, with a preference for recent acute-care experience or production pharmacist experience.
