The Master of Social Work provides supervision to medical social workers and delivers high-quality psychosocial care to hospice patients and their families. Responsibilities include conducting comprehensive assessments, participating in interdisciplinary team meetings, and assisting with advance directives and grief counseling.
Candidates must hold a Master's degree in Social Work and be a licensed medical social worker with evidence of passing the Texas Jurisprudence Exam. One year of experience in palliative or hospice care is preferred, along with reliable transportation and valid auto insurance.
