Key Responsibilities
The Behavioral Health Specialist supports adult residential treatment clients by assisting with skill development, creating treatment and discharge plans, facilitating educational groups, and conducting mental health assessments and evidence-based therapy. Duties also include monitoring client symptoms, providing individual counseling, assisting with case management, and performing necessary crisis intervention and clinical documentation.
Requirements
Candidates must possess a Master's degree in social work, counseling, or a related field leading to clinical licensure eligibility, and must be eligible for registration as an Agency Affiliated Counselor. A valid driver's license, clean driving record for three years, and willingness to comply with N95 respirator requirements are also mandatory.
