Social Worker – Safeguarding Team

Join Liquid Personnel as a Social Worker – Safeguarding Team in Birmingham. Our client based in Birmingham. Is seeking experienced and committed Adult Safeguarding Social Workers to join their citywide safeguarding teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Undertake and lead Section 42 safeguarding enquiries, including screening, risk assessment, and investigation of safeguarding concerns.

• Coordinate safeguarding responses in line with the Care Act 2014 and Making Safeguarding Personal principles.

• Chair and contribute to strategy meetings, professionals’ meetings, and safeguarding planning meetings.

• Develop, implement, and review risk management and protection plans to manage complex risk.

Requirements

• To be successful in this role you must have,.

• Professional Qualification: MA, BA, BSc in Social Work, Diploma in Social Work, or CQSW.

• Registration: Must be registered with Social Work England.

• Experience: Minimum of 2 Years Post-qualified experience evidenced in a permanent qualified Social Worker role (ASYE completed). (MoC Cooling-Off Period).
