What You Will Do

* Accurately dispense prescription medications in compliance with federal and
state regulations, company policies, and quality standards.
* Review and verify prescriptions for dosage accuracy, potential interactions,
and contraindications based on patient-specific factors.
* Provide oversight, guidance, and quality assurance for pharmacy technicians
to ensure accurate preparation and packaging of medications.
* Maintain complete and compliant documentation for prescriptions, inventory,
and regulatory requirements.
* Collaborate with prescribers, pharmacy leadership, and team members to
resolve issues and optimize patient outcomes.
* Participate in audits, process improvements, and continuous quality
initiatives to enhance pharmacy workflows and ensure patient safety.

What We Look For

* Education: Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD)
from an accredited college of pharmacy
* Licensure: Active, unrestricted Pharmacist License
* Certifications: Eligibility to participate in federal prescription programs
(Medicare, Medicaid)
* Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced
pharmacy environment
* Experience in a high-volume community, mail order, or fulfillment pharmacy
* Skills: Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills with
exceptional attention to detail
* Technical Proficiency: Experience using pharmacy management software, barcode
verification systems, and EHRs
