Job description

Join Bright View as a Behavioral Health Counselor I in Asheboro, North Carolina. Are you a dedicated and experienced Counselor with a passion for assisting individuals on their journey towards recovery? We're looking for a proactive and compassionate Counselor to contribute to our treatment team.

Key Responsibilities

  • CLINICAL CARE: Plan and conduct group therapy sessions and patient intake assessments based on clinic needs and best-practice guidelines.
  • Provide crisis and de-escalation techniques.
  • TREATMENT PLANNING AND PROGRESS MONITORING: Assist with treatment planning.
  • Review progress towards treatment plan goals.

Requirements

  • EXPERIENCE.
  • Required: 1+ year of experience in a relevant field.
  • Preferred: 2+ years of experience in a relevant field.

Benefits & Compensation

  • Salary range: $50,000 to $54,000 annually.

Work Schedule

  • Full-Time position.

Work with Bright View in Asheboro, North Carolina.

Licensure & Certifications

Candidates must have at least one year of experience in a relevant field and hold an active entry-level clinical certification or licensure such as CADC or CADC-I. Strong communication skills, empathy, and the ability to work collaboratively in a healthcare environment are required.
