Position: Occupational Therapist
Pay: $60,000 - $67,000 annually. Sign-on Bonus available.
Location: Amherst, NY
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 3:30 PM, 37.5 hrs./week

Your Impact as an Occupational Therapist
The Occupational Therapist provides occupational therapy service while supporting the transdisciplinary team.
- Deliver services as mandated
- Create and maintain all required documentation
- Participate as part of the educational/clinical team for each student
- Applies best, evidence based, practice methods

- Perform any other duty as requested by your supervisor
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE - Bachelor or Masters Degree in Occupational Therapy from a New York State accredited college or university
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS Etc.
- Licensed and registered by the State Education Department in Occupational Therapy
- Certified by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy, Inc. (NBCOT®)
- Must be First Aid, CPR and SCIP-R certified; fingerprint clearance through Office of Child and Family Services (OCFS)

Key Responsibilities
The Occupational Therapist is responsible for providing occupational therapy services while supporting the transdisciplinary team, which includes delivering mandated services and creating all required documentation. This role also requires participation as part of the educational/clinical team for each student and applying best, evidence-based practice methods.
Requirements
Candidates must possess a Bachelor or Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy from a New York State accredited college or university and must be licensed and registered by the State Education Department in Occupational Therapy. Essential certifications include NBCOT certification, First Aid, CPR, and SCIP-R certification, along with fingerprint clearance through OCFS.
