The Occupational Therapist is responsible for providing occupational therapy services while supporting the transdisciplinary team, which includes delivering mandated services and creating all required documentation. This role also requires participation as part of the educational/clinical team for each student and applying best, evidence-based practice methods.

Requirements

Candidates must possess a Bachelor or Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy from a New York State accredited college or university and must be licensed and registered by the State Education Department in Occupational Therapy. Essential certifications include NBCOT certification, First Aid, CPR, and SCIP-R certification, along with fingerprint clearance through OCFS.
