Behavioral Health Technician

Join OVP Health as a Behavioral Health Technician in South Point, Ohio. A behavioral health technician is expected to understand and implement individual treatment plans, record patient behavior, and provide a safe, supportive environment for the patients. The BHT will be responsible for stabilizing members from imminent danger.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in client treatment plans and record patient behavior.

• Provide safe and supportive environment for patients.

• Stabalize and de-escalation members in any danger.

• Mediating and restriction of disruptive behavior.

Requirements

• Experience in the behavioral health field.

• Must have demonstrated extensive experience in the treatment and care of men and women who have mental health, substance abuse or trauma related issues and/or children who have experienced these issues or child abuse/neglect.

Work Schedule

• Full-Time position.

Work with OVP Health in South Point, Ohio.
