Therapist, Youth Recovery

Key Responsibilities

• Engages patients in the Youth Residential Recovery program, appropriate family members, and referral sources/stakeholders and consented to by consumer.

• Identifies risk factors including lethality for suicidal, homicidal and/or grave disability. As appropriate, complete involuntary mental health holds.

• Commitment protocols.

• Provides behavioral and diagnostic assessments. Completes initial engagement strategies, treatment and discharge planning, and case management/wrap around services. Provides ASAM level of care assessment and referral, as needed to meet client needs and fulfill insurance/payor requirements.

Requirements

• Works constructively with clients to reach agreed upon outcomes, and coordinates care with internal and external providers.

• Assists the Program Coordinator in the oversight of the milieu, provides de-escalation and crisis-intervention as needed and identifies and addresses clinical concerns.

• Obtains collateral information from family, and other providers as appropriate.

• Schedule does involve one weekend day weekly to support the 24/7 programmatic format.

Benefits & Compensation

• Salary: $62.7K - $84.9K

• Signing bonus: $5,000.

Work Schedule

• Full-Time position.

• Weekend coverage may be required.
