Job Description

About Christ Community Health Services

Since 1995, Christ Community Health Services (CCHS) has provided high-quality healthcare to the underserved in the context of distinctively Christian service. As a faith based Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC), we serve approximately 60,000 patients each year across our Memphis health centers, offering primary care, dental, behavioral health, pharmacy, and specialty services to the communities that need them most.

About the Role

Christ Community Health Services is seeking a compassionate, mission-driven Physician (MD/DO) to join our team in a faith-based Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) setting.

This is an opportunity to provide high-quality, whole-person primary care while serving patients who may face significant barriers to healthcare.

At CCHS, we believe excellent medicine is about more than treating a diagnosis — it is about caring for the whole person, with Intentional Love, Devoted Service, and Humble Excellence.

  • Address patients' physical, emotional, social, and spiritual needs as appropriate within a faith-based care environment.
  • Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation and coding.
  • Participate in care-gap closure, quality improvement, peer review, and other FQHC initiatives.
  • Support patient access through same-day visits, telehealth, extended hours, and other access initiatives as needed.
  • Participate in provider meetings, team huddles, case conferences, and interdisciplinary discussions.
  • Support the training and development of students, residents, and new providers when applicable.
  • Participate in community outreach and engagement activities.
  • Maintain compliance with HRSA, UDS, PCMH, regulatory, safety, and organizational standards.
