About the Role

Join National Heritage Academies as a School Social Worker – Livonia, MI in United States. This position is scheduled to work 36 hours per week. School Information: Located in Livonia, MI, Grand River Academy opened in 2014 and serves students Young 5-8.

Key Responsibilities

Provide group and individual counseling sessions to general education students, as well as monitor the students’ responses to the interventions identified.

Develop and monitor student responses to behavior intervention plans, including providing support and consultation to general and special education teachers.

Complete psychosocial assessments to assist in the determination of special education services.

Conduct functional behavior assessments and communicate the results to all team members in parent

Requirements

Qualified candidates must hold valid licensure for the state they are working in.

MSW degree and

Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) issued by the Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs (LARA) and
