The Speech Language Pathologist will provide developmentally appropriate communication and feeding programs through individual or small group therapy sessions, including developing receptive and expressive language programming for assigned caseloads. Responsibilities also include evaluating skill levels, implementing augmentative communication systems, and consulting/training teachers on therapy suggestions.
Candidates must possess a Master's degree in Speech Pathology and hold an NYS License and Teaching Certificate, with ASHA certification being preferred. Two to four years of related experience is required, along with the ability to perform physical tasks like lifting up to 50 pounds and meeting specific vision requirements.
