- This position addresses current student needs at several schools. If the current school should experience a change in student needs, the individual filling this position may support team members at additional locations within the network where needs are demonstrated. This could occur at any time during the school year, but often with notice.
- Candidate should have a strong background in therapeutic, diagnostic and behavioral intervention (resource) strategies. Required Qualifications:
- Masters degree meets subject, grade level, and/or content area qualifications consistent with Colorado Department of Education. *Certificate of Clinical Competence from ASHA
- Must possess or be in the process of obtaining a Colorado Teacher License, - Special Services Provider
- Criminal background check required for hire ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND ROLE-SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
- Complete assessments, evaluation reports, IEP's progress reports within expected timelines
- Collaborate and consult with IEP team members, also serving as case manager for some students
- Organize and create therapeutic schedule and maintain correct service delivery/progress logs

Key Responsibilities
The Speech Language Pathologist will complete necessary assessments, evaluation reports, and IEP progress reports within established timelines, while also serving as a case manager for some students. Responsibilities include organizing therapeutic schedules, maintaining service delivery logs, and collaborating with IEP team members and the building MTSS team.
Requirements
Candidates must possess a Master's degree meeting Colorado Department of Education qualifications and hold or be in the process of obtaining an ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence and a Colorado Teacher License for Special Services Provider. A strong background in therapeutic, diagnostic, and behavioral intervention strategies is required, along with passing a criminal background check.
