Key Responsibilities
The Staff Pharmacist is responsible for the daily operational duties of dispensing prescription medications and verifying the accuracy of medication packaging and labeling. They also provide clinical expertise, manage controlled substance inventory, and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
Requirements
Candidates must hold an active Pharmacist license and possess a Bachelor's degree or Pharmacy Doctorate from an accredited school. At least two years of experience in an acute-care setting or one year as a production pharmacist is preferred.
