How you’ll contribute
A Speech Pathologist Who Excels in This Role
- Performs patient assessment
- Establish a plan of care
- Provides care in accordance with physician's orders and established plan of care
- Assesses the effectiveness of treatment and modifies treatment to achieve goals
- Plans for patient discharge. Communicates with patient, family, caregivers, significant other, and members of the healthcare team to achieve rehabilitation goals and promote maximum benefits of care
- Participates in performance improvement and program development activities

What We’re Looking For
A Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Disorders, Communicative Disorders, or similarly titled area that is consistent and acceptable to the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. Additional
requirements include:
- Education: Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Experience: Experience in acute or rehab setting preferred.
- License: Current SLP license and ASHA certification.
- Certifications: CPR certification required.

Key Responsibilities
The Speech Language Pathologist will perform patient assessments, establish individualized plans of care, and provide treatment in accordance with physician orders. They will also collaborate with the healthcare team and families to facilitate effective discharge planning and achieve rehabilitation goals.
Requirements
Candidates must hold a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology and possess a current SLP license and ASHA certification. Experience in an acute or rehabilitation setting is preferred, and CPR certification is required.
