Join Stamford Health as a Physician Assistant – Ortho Trauma, Per Diem in [object Object]. Stamford Hospital's Department of Orthopedic Surgery is seeking a per diem physician assistant to add to their growing team! The Orthopedic Trauma team is comprised of approximately 13 full time PAs and the program provides 24/7/365 coverage.

Key Responsibilities

• include admission H&Ps, Consultations, Rounding, discharging, and first/second assisting in the OR.

• The Orthopedic Trauma PAs perform bedside procedures including independent reductions, splinting, casting, arthrocentesis, nailbed repair, etc.

• The right incumbent will bring several years of OR (first assist) experience.

Requirements

• Rotating days/nights/weekends with emphasize on weekend day shift from 6a-6p.

• Requirements: 1)Must have experience doing orthopedic trauma cases.

Work Schedule

• Per Diem position.

• Weekend coverage may be required.

• Day shift only - no nights.
