The therapist will coordinate, initiate, and conduct assessments to guide treatment planning, provide case management, and deliver individual and group psychotherapy using evidence-informed practices for complex mental health and addiction issues. They will also collaborate closely with physicians and the clinical team to monitor progress, adjust treatment plans, and manage discharge planning.
Candidates must possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a recognized Social Science program with addiction-specific education and maintain good standing with the relevant Ontario regulatory college (e.g., OCSWSSW, RP). Required competencies include proficiency in CBT, DBT, assessment/treatment using evidence-based practices, and strong communication skills.
