About the Role

Join Woman's Hospital as a Hospital Pharmacist – Full-Time, M-F Schedule in United States. The Pharmacist prepares and dispenses pharmaceuticals as ordered by qualified prescriber; approves the drug usage, strength, dosage regimen and route of administration. Performs other duties assigned by department management according to policies and procedures and the mission of Woman's Hospital.

Requirements

• Current licensure from the Louisiana Board of Pharmacy.

• Experience in hospital pharmacy and IV preparation is preferred. Responsibilities:

• Documents and maintains patient profile accurately to include information on allergies, disease history, food/drug interactions, patient education, etc.

• Interprets medication orders and provides pharmaceutical care in accordance to patient's risk level. Consults appropriate references when needed.

Benefits & Compensation

• Salary: $102K - $151K

Work Schedule

• Full-Time position.

• Weekend coverage may be required.
