Join Thrive Medical Services as a Psychiatric Provider (Psychiatrist or Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner) in Las Cruces, New Mexico. The Psychiatric Provider delivers psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis, and medication management services for incarcerated individuals. As clinically indicated and within licensed scope, this role may also provide medication-assisted treatment (MAT) services for substance use disorders.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and diagnostic assessments.
- Diagnose mental health disorders and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Prescribe, adjust, and monitor psychotropic medications.
- Participate in suicide prevention, crisis intervention, and restrictive housing evaluations.
Requirements
- Adhere to Thrive Medical Services policies, NCCHC standards, and applicable laws and regulations.
- Qualifications Active New Mexico license as: MD/DO Psychiatrist or Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner.
- DEA registration with authority to prescribe controlled substances, as applicable.
- Experience in correctional, forensic, addiction, or integrated behavioral health settings preferred.
