About the Role

Join Mayo Clinic as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant - Neurosurgery Supplemental in United States.

Key Responsibilities

include the management of patients using protocol-driven treatment strategies, and providing care in the inpatient and outpatient settings within the full scope of practice.

At this time this role does not include OR surgical assist.

The incumbent will work closely with the physicians, chief residents, residents, NP/PAs and nursing staff of the Department of Neurologic Surgery.

This position functions with a high level of autonomy.

Benefits & Compensation

Hourly rate: $80.42/hr.

Requirements

Applicants must be a Masters prepared graduate of an accredited school of nursing and Nurse Practitioner program with current Minnesota RN license and appropriate certification, or a graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program with current PA certification. Candidates must also obtain and maintain BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications within the first year and possess excellent time management skills.
