Join OrthoCarolina as a Physician Assistant – Physiatry, Outpatient in United States.
Key Responsibilities
- include: Examination of patients, performing comprehensive physical examination, and compiling patient medical data, including health history and results of physical examination.
- Administers or orders diagnostic tests, such as x-ray, electrocardiogram, and laboratory tests, and interprets test results in collaboration with orthopedic surgeons/staff.
- Performs therapeutic procedures such as injections, immunizations, suturing and wound care, and managing infection.
- Assesses, applies and/or removes a variety of orthopedic casts, splints, and immobilization devices.
Requirements
- and documentation for state licensure, DEA licensure, NCCPA certification, and hospital staff privileges.
- Education required: Graduate of AMA accredited physician assistant program.
Work Schedule
- Full-Time position.
- Day shift only - no nights.
