General Dentist at Wahl Family Dentistry

Delaware | Full-time | 4 or 5 days per week

Part of Freedom Dental Health

Wahl Family Dentistry is seeking a General Dentist who enjoys caring for families and wants to grow within a dentist-owned, dentist-led organization. Build relationships with patients over time, deliver comprehensive care, and shape your clinical development with mentorship and collaboration across Freedom Dental Health.

Your Local Practice and the Freedom Network

Wahl Family Dental is part of Freedom Dental Health, a connected, dentist-owned and dentist-led network of general dentists and specialists. Join a local team with clinical expertise and career opportunities across Freedom. Our mission is to improve quality of life through comprehensive care connecting oral and overall health.

The Freedom Difference

Clinical autonomy and technology. Your independent clinical judgment guides care. Freedom invests in advanced technology, including scanners, AI, technology-enabled workflows, and digital dentistry, supported by operational, marketing, HR, and compliance teams.

Mentorship you can use. Our Chief Dental Officer, Dr. Kyle Green, leads mentorship and development through case review, treatment planning collaboration, and hands-on coaching with experienced clinicians.

Direct specialist collaboration. Connect with colleagues across disciplines, discuss complex cases, and learn through study clubs and shared case discussions.

Growth beyond one location. Build your skills through Growth Track programs and explore leadership opportunities. An earned equity pathway is available to doctors who demonstrate commitment, performance, and leadership.

The Opportunity

Bring your clinical interests and career goals to a full-time role working 4 or 5 days per week. Provide comprehensive care for families and collaborate on treatment plans that reflect each patient’s needs. Wahl’s clinical environment includes a CBCT scanner.

Compensation and Support

$250,000–$500,000 annual earning potential for full-time roles. Highly competitive percentage-of-collections compensation. Earnings depend on schedule, collections, experience, and clinical scope. Benefits include a CE allowance, internal CE, 401(k), health insurance, malpractice coverage, and additional fringe benefits, subject to eligibility. Relocation assistance is available.

What You Bring

New graduates and experienced dentists are welcome. Bring a DDS or DMD and current CPR certification; obtain an active Delaware dental license before starting clinical work. We value clinical excellence, compassionate communication, accountability, and a willingness to learn.

Support for Your Delaware Dental License

Not yet licensed in Delaware? We can help. Freedom offers complimentary, hands-on support through the Board licensing process, including help sourcing exam patients, providing tools and equipment, and arranging a chairside assistant. We help simplify the logistics so you can focus on demonstrating your clinical skills. Candidates must meet the Board’s eligibility and examination requirements.
