Job Location: Amberwell Atchison - Atchison, KS 66002, Position Type: PRN (As needed - no set schedule), Education Level: Doctorate Degree, Travel Percentage: Periodic - As Needed, Job Shift: PRN - As Needed, no set Shift, Job Category: Pharmacy, JOB DESCRIPTION: Pharmacists are responsible for ensuring medications are prepared, compounded and dispensed in a manner consistent with department policy, rules and regulations promulgated by the Board of Pharmacy and other applicable regulatory bodies.
As part of daily activities, pharmacists routinely assess pertinent patient information, such as demographic data, vital signs, laboratory values, medication regimens, medication compliance, and health insurance coverage.
Pharmacists collaborate with all members of the healthcare team, patients, and their caregivers to provide value-based, patient centered care.
