Are you a passionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) looking for a rewarding school-based opportunity in Concord, North Carolina? Ampersand Therapy is seeking dedicated SLPs for the 26-27 school year with a wonderful local district.

About the Role

Hi, SLPs! Ampersand Therapy is hiring Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) for a school-based position in Concord, NC. You’ll support students by providing speech and language services that directly impact communication and learning. This role is ideal for both experienced SLPs and Clinical Fellows (CFs), with strong mentorship provided.

  • What You’ll Do
  • Provide speech-language therapy services in a K-12 school setting
  • Conduct assessments and write comprehensive evaluation reports
  • Develop and implement IEP goals and therapy plans
  • Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with school teams
  • Support students with articulation, language, fluency, and social communication
  • Partner with teachers and families to support carryover of skills
  • Maintain timely documentation, progress notes, and compliance records
  • Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans as needed

What We’re Looking For

  • Licensure from the North Carolina Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists
  • Eligibility for North Carolina licensure as a speech-language pathologist through the Department of Public Instruction
  • Master’s Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders
  • Clinical Fellows (CFs) encouraged to apply
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • School-based experience preferred, not required
