The Radiology Technologist performs diagnostic radiography and fluoroscopic studies using ionizing radiation equipment according to clinic protocols. They are responsible for maintaining image quality, documenting processes in RIS/PACS systems, and ensuring patient safety through proper shielding and communication.
Candidates must be graduates of an AMA-approved school of Radiologic Technology and hold or be eligible for ARRT(R) registry and Texas Medical Board certification. A BLS certification and the ability to operate digital imaging equipment are required.
