About the Role

Join Harris House Foundation Inc as a Nurse Practitioner – Friday-Sunday, 9-5 in United States.

Key Responsibilities

Ensure that a medical evaluation, including a medical history and physical examination, has been performed at every patient’s admission.

Ensure that appropriate laboratory studies have been ordered and performed, and results are reviewed and documented.

Collaborates with Medical Director, clinical and social service teams, and other medical providers.

Presents medical forms to the Medical Director for their signature.

Requirements

Ensures compliance with State Regulations, CARF and HIPAA Standards. Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Master’s degree in nursing from an accredited college or university.

Completion of Nurse Practitioner program specific to psychiatry/mental health.

1 year as Nurse Practitioner treating substance use disorders.

Work Schedule

Part-Time position.

Call responsibilities required.

Weekend coverage may be required.

Day shift only - no nights.
