City Description

The City of Alliance is located in Northeastern Ohio on the headwaters of the
Mahoning River. The city is approximately 18 miles northeast of Canton, the
Stark County seat, approximately 55 miles southeast of Cleveland, and
approximately 79 miles northwest of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The city is served
by diversified transportation facilities, including five state and U. S. highways
that provide easy access to Interstate Highways 76, 77, and 80 (the Ohio
Turnpike). Passenger air service is available at the Akron-Canton Regional, the
Youngstown/Warren Regional Municipal Airport and Cleveland Hopkins International
Airport. Alliance is home to a new industrial park, many new businesses and many
